Parts Advisor

The Position:
We are looking for a Full-time Parts Advisor with a minimum of three years of automotive parts experience.

As a Parts Advisor, a typical day might include the following:
• Develop and maintain full knowledge of all Toyota/Lexus products
• Assists customers with parts inquiries in person, over the phone and electronically.
• Sells parts through the shop, by phone, and over the counter to customers.
• Assists Technicians/retail/wholesale customers with the selection of parts, and informs customers about the
product line.
• Provides price quotes and other related parts information.
• Determines availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.
• Provides guidance to outside sales representatives regarding orders.
• Prepares orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
• Retrieves parts purchased from stock.
• Reviews files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
• Issues credit for parts returned; ensure invoice number is on hand to verify purchase and pricing (prompt
processing of part credits to assist A/R).
• Assists the Parts Manager in ordering stocked parts.
• Processes buyout parts invoicing for posting.
• Assists with shipping/receiving when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Parts Manager.
• Maintaining proper inventory levels
• Filling orders for technicians in our busy Service Department
• Placing orders in a timely fashion

What you offer:
• A minimum of 5 years of previous automotive parts experience is required
• Previous experience working with Toyota and Lexus is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Reynolds system is an asset
• A strong team attitude
• You are willing to learn and be coached from senior parts staff
• You have a passion for customer service. You use your excellent communication skills to assist customers with
inquires

• You are self-motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
